Where wildlife roams, natural wonders abound and the sky has never seemed so big

Adventure Holidays in Africa

From the sandy dunes of Namibia to the roaring falls of Victoria, the dizzy heights of Kilimanjaro and the dreamy shores of Zanzibar, to dream of Africa is to dream of wide-open spaces, huge skies and abundant wildlife.

Watch in wonder as millions of wildebeest cross the Mara River; elephants bathe in the shimmering waters of the Okavango Delta; a pride of lions on the prowl in Kruger; a camel train crosses the vast Sahara desert; lemurs skip along a dirt track in Madagascar; a gorilla lazily chews leaves in the Virunga Mountains. Whatever your dream African holiday entails, we have the adventure – and safari – for you.

As for its culture, it is no less fascinating whether you choose to explore the souks of Marrakech; visit the ochre-covered Himba of Namibia; move to the beat of Ghana’s Ashanti drums or Climb Kilimanjaro.

Africa Adventure Holidays

Your words not ours

At Exodus, we believe in low impact tourism, and combine the adventure holidays of a lifetime with the opportunity to experience local life – whether that’s sleeping under the stars on the bank of a river, or visiting a local school. And African adventures are no different. Our goal is to provide adventurous yet sensitively run holidays. The kind that thrill and leave you with a sense of achievement.

“Everyone got the opportunity to get to know each other, and wherever we camped there were no other groups. We felt immersed by genuine wild Africa, with the views and sounds that go with it. We stayed on a sandy island in the middle of the river and camped on the riverbank next to the trees where you could sit and watch animals emerge. There were spectacular African sunsets followed by fantastic starry skies with a soundtrack of animal noises. It was our most memorable holiday ever”.

Guided Groups

Our guided group adventures are small group adventures, normally from 8-16 people, meaning our trips aren’t disruptive to the places we visit and a smaller number of guests creates a good group dynamic. You’ll get to know a range of people from different backgrounds with a shared interest in travel, while a local expert on every adventure gives a unique insight into local life.
