AON Discover Burma

As far as I know this trip is full. Anyone else out there on it? I am from UK but joining in Rangoon.

Hi Martin!

I am on the trip and also joining in Rangoon.  I arrive on 15th staying with a colleague. When are you arriving?

Hi  -  I'm from the US joining in Rangoon/Yangon.  The tour is full.  I tried to get my son on but could not.  And Exodus has added a lot more tours on the schedule.  So it must be popular.  I hope we are not packed in a tiny bus cause I expect it to be hot.  Anyone been to Myanmar or have any good travel tips?  Not much expat info on the internet like for other places. I was on one other Exodus tour and it was very good.

Looks like your departure is 7 NOV and mine is 25 NOV so I will not see you.  Have a good time.

I am arriving in Rangoon on 15 November and will join the trip on 21st November.  Anyone else arriving before the start date?

Margaret, Mo and I will be on the tour that starts in Rangoon on the 21st Nov

We are meant to arrive in Rangoon on the 20th then join the tour the next day, we have no idea which hotel we are in but I will find out. Looking forward to meeting you

Hi, I'm Sue from Brighton, and I'm arriving in Rangoon a couple of days before the tour starts in the hope of getting over the jet lag just a little. I reckon Martin is on the same trip as me, anyone else?

Hi Sue from Brighton.  This thread seems to have been taken over by people departing on other dates - the number of departures suggests everyone has decided Burma is the place to go this year. Not sure if Dennis is on our trip or not - perhaps he could confirm.

I arrive in Rangoon early on the morning of 7th Nov, having had a night on the plane and a night in Kuala Lumpur. Some years ago I did the Exodus bike trip from Bangkok to Saigon, so have some knowledge of SE Asia, but attracted by the relatively undeveloped nature of Burma.

Hi Folks

Am on this trip .. practicing the bike riding thing too as years since done that ..have an interest in Buddhism ... look forward to meeting everyone
