MOV - Cycling Vietnam 27 March departure

I'm joining this trip in Vietnam - my first cycle tour - and looking forward to it :-)

We too are really looking forward to this trip. For the last 20 years we have been doing independent cycle tours in Europe and are convinced it is the best way to experience another country and culture. This will be our first organised group trip and we'll look forward to meeting other cyclists. We are both retired and working on getting fit for this trip. Would like to hear from anyone going on this trip - March 27 departure. By the way we will arrive in Ho Chi Minh on 26th and stay an extra night at the Huong Sen Hotel. Anyone else arriving early?

I'm looking forward to it but a little nervous as I've never done any major cycling before. Pretty fit as I live in Asia at the moment fighting Muay Thai so train cardio a lot, but know sport specific training doesn't always crossover well. Got three weeks after my next fight to get some practice in with Phuket's cazy traffic though so should be able to get past the saddle sores at least! I'm hoping this trip will be a great way to see another country up close :-)

Would be nice to hear from others going on this trip.

Graham and I are looking forward to this trip - should be great fun! Travelling out on the group flight on Saturday morning so will be looking out for cycling helmets at check in! Cycling is a great way to see a country up close....we did Cuba last year and South Africa the year before (both Exodus trips). People talked about the Vietnam trip a lot.

See you there!
