N'gorogoro going??

Hi, just had this trip confirmed, 1 space left as far as I can see. I am a regular cyclist from Scarborough and done a few exodus trips now, all been great and have met some interesting people. 1st time to Africa for me so feel free to post and compare notes before travel, sounds good from the reviews.

Hi,

I'm booked on this trip too. Looking forward to cycling in this fantastic part of the world.  I've lived in Africa, and climbed Kili 25 years ago! Looks like it will be hot. I suggest a good pair of binoculars as a worthwile investment, and I find them better value than a fancy camera.  But I do have a helmet mounted video camera.

Hi Geoff,

There is another post from Rob an American under 'Tanzania 9th Feb' which is the right date. I am planning to climb Kili after the cycling with my daughter who is flying out to meet me, hope I am not being too ambitious? will be interested to hear your experiences.

Does not say where you are from, but it appears you have done some similar trips to me, so again a few things to talk about over dinner!! I am all prepared with jabs etc, just need a few more items of kit for the Kili climb. The video should be interesting especially if we come across anything unusual.

Anyone flying from Heathrow (Sat 8th Feb) on this trip and is interested you will find me in the bar watching the rugby before departure!!

Bob.

Which bar?  I'll be walking about with a cycle helmet!

Geoff,

Being from up t'North and not familiar with Heathrow had to consult the website and it appears 'The Bridge' is the only one after security in T4. I am over 50! bald with glasses and will also have a blue and white cycle helmet and blue jacket (Colour co-ordinated??)
