Walking Boots?

I will be walking in sardinia and not sure which walking boots to take - I have a pair Salomon gore tex ones that I use for the lake district etc but think they may be overkill. Can I get away with my trail/ off road running shoes which have great grip but no ankle support - any advice much appreciated

Yes the boots will be far too hot for that climate. You want non-waterproof trail shoes, nobody seems to make non-waterproof boots these days. You can take hiking poles for extra stability.

Thanks for the reply - shoes it is

Brasher do non-Goretex trail shoes,

I can second MartineD's suggstion! Brasher trail shoes are a good bet

Life is a roller coaster

I like the New Balance Men's MW877 - which is rated as one of the best walking shoes for men. They are very comfortable and breathable, great for long walking.

I'm looking for footwear suggestions for Jordan - would running shoes be sufficient or would hiking boots with ankle support be preferable?

Anyone else going on the 18 May 2019 departure for A Week in Jordan?

MAIITRIP Men's Shoes is my recommendations. I need a light pair of non-skid shoes for walking. To prevent shoe easily from getting wet, I would like to use a waterproofing spray.
