Itinerary Expand all Venice to Venice Day 1 Savor Italy's tradition of Aperitivo with finger food and a range of drinks in Treviso Book your flight to arrive in Venice by 2 pm so that you can enjoy an evening of activity in Treviso – the walking tour of this enchanting town starts at 5 pm. You’ll visit a few canal-side Osterias to try Cicchetti, little Italian snacks, and sip an Aperol Spritz or Prosecco to get you into the Italian swing of things. Although dinner is not included, the tour leader will show you a terrific pizzeria in the city’s main square. Tonight, you’ll stay at Il Focolare. It’s an elegant hotel in a pedestrianised area of the town. Wind down with a novel in the hotel’s small library and reading room, ready for the adventures that are in store tomorrow. Day 2 Take a scenic walk, stopping for Prosecco tastings It’s a 50-minute journey into the Prosecco Hills today, bound for Valdobbiadene. Some of the very best wine producers are found among these steep terrace foothills of the Dolomites. You’ll take an undulating walk, following tracks and paths that wind through the vineyards. Catch spectacular views of the fertile landscape. A picnic at Osteria Senz’Oste is included. Next, there’s a visit to PDC Cartizze, a contemporary winemaker. You’ll learn why the perfect blend of sun, air and soil make this the optimum location for Prosecco production. And of course, you’ll have an all-important tasting. A half-hour drive to Pieve di Soligo follows to check into Hotel Conta. There’s a little time to relax before turning your hand to cocktail making at the local wine bar. You’ll learn to expertly create Italy’s cult cocktail, the Spritz. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Day 3 Cycle through the verdant Prosecco Hills You’ll cover more ground today, about 50 km in fact, taking to the Prosecco Hills by bike. Those lacking in energy might opt for an electric bike, as the climbs are challenging on a standard bike. You’ll pass a picturesque 16th-century mill on the quiet back roads, before ascending to Rolle, a hilltop village. Continuing upwards to the village of Resera, the panoramic views open up with sweeping vineyards below. Then comes the welcome descent, freewheeling down to the shores of Revine Lake for a picnic and well-earned rest. The rest of the ride is leisurely, following flat cycle paths and roads back to Pieve di Soligo. Tonight, visit a local agriturismo for a delicious local dinner, and pop into the kitchen to watch how some of the best traditional dishes are prepared. Meals included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner Day 4 Search out hidden corners of magical Venice This morning, you’ll travel to Conegliano by private bus and board a train to Venice. Leaving your luggage in safe storage at the station, you’ll uncover little bacari, wine bars, with your local guide and stroll through some of the most beautiful secret lanes of this enchanting city. A shuttle transfer will take you to the airport, ready to return home. To take advantage of this day in Venice, book a flight that departs after 5 pm. Meals included: Breakfast
