A Perfect Blend of Culture, Cuisine & Countryside!

This tour was an amazing way to experience the heart of Tuscany. The itinerary was perfectly balanced with cultural visits, delicious food and wine experiences, and plenty of free time to explore or relax. Some highlights for me were the guided tour of Siena, where we tasted incredible pastries made from unique local recipes, the pasta-making class in Chianti with a warm and welcoming family, and the wine tastings at beautiful family-run estates where we learned so much about what we were enjoying. Our day in Florence was equally wonderful. The hotel in Pancole was cozy and inviting and all the family and staff were so welcoming, and our tour leader made everything smooth and enjoyable. A fantastic trip filled with unforgettable memories!

Most Inspirational Moment

Standing on the hilltop in Volterra, overlooking the endless Tuscan countryside, was incredibly inspiring. The blend of ancient history, peaceful streets, and breathtaking scenery made me pause and truly appreciate the beauty and depth of the region. But to be honest, every single day offered its own “most inspiring moment” — Tuscany has a way of surprising you at every turn.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Our tour leader was outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about Tuscany and Italy. She made every part of the trip smooth and enjoyable, offering help whenever needed, sharing tips and engaging stories, and even giving us a thoughtful personalized gift at the end. Her warmth and enthusiasm created a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for the whole group, making the experience truly fantastic!

Advice for Potential Travellers

Pack comfortable shoes for walking through cobblestone streets and rolling hills, and be ready to savor every moment—Tuscany is best explored slowly. Don’t hesitate to try local wines, cheeses, and pastries wherever you go, and take advantage of the free days to wander charming towns, soak in the scenery, or follow your own curiosity. Bring an open mind, a sense of adventure, and your camera—every corner is picture-perfect!

Stunning scenery

Absolutely stunning scenery but a lot of travelling and very little choice if vegetarian. Iguazu falls should be included if you can!
Trip notes very out of date, allow for much higher prices for optional activities and tipping.

Most Inspirational Moment

The optional glacier trip was stunning, as was the optional penguin island trip

Thoughts on Group Leader

Sadly new to the role and had little knowledge to impart, but appeared to have a wonderful time taking selfies

Advice for Potential Travellers

Trip notes were very dated re pricing, expect to spend more. If you don’t eat meat there was really very little choice at some of the places visited. If you are looking for souvenirs don’t leave it to the end as Ushuaia and Iguazu had very little choice.

Best cycling trip so far !

From the day I met Claudio in San Pedro to my last day in Salta.
I have seen so many different landscapes, cycling on so many different roads.
Was great to cycle on a salt lake, in narrow canyons, in a the devils’s throat on a road above 4000m in the middle of the puna among lamas and vicunias, in a forest along lakes or in the middle of vineyards and cactus !

Most Inspirational Moment

A difficult choice ! My first day in Argentina: cycling above 4000m in the middle of the puna was really special

Incredible 2 weeks covering the whole of Sri Lanka !

An amazing all round trip – Sri Lanka is one of my favourite countries I have been to so far ! Sri Lanka truly offers everything from beaches ,mountains, safaris and forests. The people are so friendly and the food is incredible .

This trip enables you to see the whole of Sri Lanka at a fair pace – you able to see all the main attractions and the lesser known spots as well . There is a perfect amount of free time allowing you time to relax by the pool or enjoy the hotel . The hotels were of high standard and the service at all of them was exceptional.

I felt like we had sufficient time in every place and everything ran so smoothly. We were able to see and learn so much in the two weeks. This holiday was incredibly well planned and run . Thank you Exodus !

Most Inspirational Moment

Visiting the farmhouse and being able to take part in traditional Sri Lankan games - This was such an incredible experience that allowed us to experience local life .

Pack a warm jacket/jumper as gets cold in the highlands

Cycling Vietnam

From the first moment I decided to book the trip, the entire experience has been amazing. Everyone I have spoken to, asked advice from, made hotel bookings, everything has been taken care of professionally and in a very friendly manner. The trip itself must involve many people and a lot of organisation. I appreciated the effort that must have gone into that. All the staff involved on the ground; drivers, mechanics, your leader were nothing short of amazing. The itinerary, the hotels, food, every aspect of the trip went easy above and beyond. Tien and the rest of the team worked so hard to make sure we didn’t have to. I’m already looking forward to my next exodus adventure in February. Thanks to everyone involved in making the experience unforgettable.

Every single second, from start to finish. The riding, the island stay, the boat trip, the amazing team behind it all. It's so hard to single anything out

He was just amazing. He was one of a team who were all amazing??

An incredible Camino Experience!

This trip blends the best of the coastal route from Porto with the stunning, lesser-known Spiritual Variant trail. Hiking over 100 km (62 miles) along the Portuguese Camino Highlights Walk was challenging but very rewarding. The coastal walks offered stunning views of the coastline and ocean and I loved walking through the quaint fishing villages along the coast. The Stone & Water trail and the Spiritual Variant trail offered stunning scenery, peaceful forests, rivers, and charming medieval villages and country towns along the way.

The food was a highlight too—fresh seafood and traditional local dishes at every stop. I highly recommend trying local dishes such as Galician Pulpo (octopus), Galician scallops (in the shell), and Padron peppers! On Day 5 and 6, we stayed at Villa Covelo and stumbled upon a local restaurant called, O Recuncho do lolo, and had an incredible local experience here! The owner Graciela was so hospitable and kind that we dined there two evenings in a row! You must try her cheesecake (she sold us by telling us it was the best in the world- and it very well might be!)

The accommodations at A Casa Antiga do Monte and Hotel Melo Alvim were cozy, historic, and full of character.

If you’re thinking about doing a “highlights version” of the Camino, this Exodus trip is the perfect way to do it! 🙂

Most Inspirational Moment

Reaching the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral with our group was an unforgettable moment. The sense of accomplishment, the energy in the square, and our celebratory dinner together made the perfect finale to this Camino adventure.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Our amazing tour leader Maria brought so much heart and first-hand knowledge from her own experiences hiking multiple Camino routes. She was kind, funny, incredibly supportive, and always radiated positivity and energy.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Bring whatever footwear is most comfortable for you, whether that’s hiking boots, trail runners, running shoes, or a mix. Just make sure they’re well broken-in before the trip. Hiking boots aren’t always necessary and can feel heavy over long distances but could be useful for rainy hiking days through the forested sections with roots & rocks, so if you pack hiking boots I suggest having a couple of lighter options to bring along and change into. I even packed a pair of Merrell sandals with good tread on the bottom to hike in for certain sections or to change into after a long day of hiking. Bring Vaseline, blister plasters, or your go-to foot-care essentials to stay comfortable. Also hiking poles were useful for certain sections of the trails as well! Bring a reusable water bottle—there are plenty of spots along the Camino to refill your water as you go.

A wonderfully varied, fully immersive experience of Cuba!

I had an incredible time in Cuba! Cycling through stunning landscapes was the perfect way to see the country up close—rolling hills, vibrant towns, and beautiful coastlines. The itinerary was well thought out, balancing active days with plenty of cultural experiences.
Our tour leader, Rey, and driver were fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and always making sure everything ran smoothly. The bikes were in great condition, and the logistics were seamless.
Highlights for me included exploring Havana’s lively streets, a peaceful stay at the Bay of Pigs, and visiting Trinidad with its colourful colonial charm. Every day brought something new and memorable.
If you’re looking for an active holiday that combines adventure, culture, and great company, this trip is perfect. Highly recommended!
