An excellent mix of exercise, history and culture.
Fantastic way to see the country, meet the locals, get very fit and experience the very essence of Cuba.
Most Inspirational Moment
Watching Cubans dance was truly inspirational. The joy and the passion witnessed has sent me straight to dancing classes.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Alex was fantastic. His knowledge and language were both remarkable and he had a great sense of humour to go with it.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Take a good zoom lens, tell your friends and family they might not hear from you for the duration and take a few salsa lessons before you go,

Mont Blanc Highlights
I did this trip during the last week in September and the weather was great every day. A well organised trip and everything went to schedule. Comfortable chalet and excellent meals in the evening.
Most Inspirational Moment
Everyday had its highlight. The Aiguille de Midi on our rest day was spectacular and the hot chocolate and ice cream in Italy were delicious.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Mark obviously knew the hills like the back of his hand. we kept a good pace each day, had great views and got plenty of information about the areas we were in.
Advice for Potential Travellers
If you are used to walking the hills in the Lake District then you will be fine with this trip. Don't forget your swimsuit/trunks for the hot tub.

Cycling Vietnam 2016
Vietnam cycling was the most exciting, satisfying, amazing experience I have encountered and if you took out the cycling, it would not have been the same!
Most Inspirational Moment
There had been many highlights throughout the 2 weeks but the one that stands out is cycling down one of many mountains for 20km in heavy rain.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Our group leader Lam treated the trip as it was his very first one and was always at hand with guidance and advice and led the group without incident.
Advice for Potential Travellers
In the busy cities, keep your phones, cameras, wallets very close to you and do not take out so much money when shopping, but just enough.

The Inca Trail
If you are reading this – then you obviously have an interest in booking the Inca Trail trip with Exodus, and you are trying to get some feedback as to whether you should do it or not – I have 3 words for you – “JUST DO IT”.
This was my first ever Exodus trip and I was very anxious about being solo traveler, spending a lot of money, going to a foreign country – not sure who would meet me (if anyone), would I be able to actually do the trek – all these question go through your mind – but in reality there is absolutely nothing to worry about – this has been the best experience of my life and I would recommend this to anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. In my opinion it is worth the money, there was someone to meet me at the other end and the trek whilst challenging at time was very achievable, and being a solo traveler bit – not an issue the other members on my trip, i class as friends – when you do this trip with others you cant help but become friends with these fantastic shared experiences.
Most Inspirational Moment
When you eventually get to the Sun gate on day 4, your first sight of Machu Picchu is truly breath taking, and the previous 4 days treking is totally worth it.
The general views on the way are also amazing - day 3 campsite - best campsite in the world - you'll have to book it if you want to know why!
Thoughts on Group Leader
Wilbert was our group leader and we could nit have asked for better - he knew his stuff inside out and made 12 strangers become great friends in no time at all.
Advice for Potential Travellers
It can get cold at night so pack plenty of warm clothes.
Prepare your self for early starts - you also get early nights thou
You need a degree of 'toilet humor' - one shared toilet for the group

Mount Toubkal - long weekend
I absolutely loved my trip, which included the relaxed delights of Marrakech (sitting on a roof terrace drinking mint tea and visiting a beautiful tiled hammam) and lung-busting strenous walking and scambling to the summit of Mount Toubkal. I’m so grateful for the wonderful guides who helped me during the stay, particularly Abdi who held my hand and helped me get up and down the moutain! I’m also really grateful to the other members of our group who were funny, inspiring and kind.
Most Inspirational Moment
About half way up Mount Toubkal, turning round and seeing the sun slowly illuminating the slopes below: one by one they turned from black to orange and suddenly we found ourselves illuminated in the blazing African sunshine. It was a strange sensation - as we were so high up, the air still feel cool and chilly so I kept my woolly hat on!
Thoughts on Group Leader
Just amazing. Our group leader was my cousin Jae and our main guide was Abdul. Both were wonderful - patient, kind, encouraging and they worked really long hours to make sure everyone on the trip was having the best possible time. Thank you Jae and Abdul.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Get as fit as possible - I wouldn't have made it to the top without lots of help from Abdi! Also, bring walking poles. And I'd recommend buying some goodies from Mrs Mills Bakes Cakes to help you keep your energy up!!

Discover Costa Rica
We had a fantastic holiday in Costa Rica. The holiday was well planned and managed perfectly by our great tour guide, Gustavo. The holiday allowed us to experience the diversity of this lovely country and had just the right amount of mix of activities, walks and free time. The lodges and hotels were all good, friendly, well managed and in fantastic locations particularly in Tortuguero, Golfito and Savegre
Most Inspirational Moment
Seeing amazing wildlife in their natural environment
Thoughts on Group Leader
Gustavo was great. He ensured everyone was well looked after and experienced everything Costa Rica has to offer during our short visit.

The top of North Africa!
I took part in a private group’s 5 day trip climbing up Toubkal. From the moment you start climbing up through the Berber villages, traversing walnut tree groves and zigzagging into the hills, you are won over by the beauty of the Atlas mountains. Make no mistake, you have to work hard for the views, therefore sturdy boots and plenty of water are essential. Read the trip notes, as items such as a head torch are also non negotiable (I suspect the lady I saw wearing Ugg boots probably wasn’t an Exodus customer, as they gave us excellent preparation advice on what not to wear!). This jouney will challenge you physically and you do need a good level of fitness. Some parts are a bit rough, such as scrambling over boulders and scree, but the view from the top is breathtaking.
Most Inspirational Moment
I'm not a religious person at all, but watching one of the guides quietly praying on a rock surrounded by dawn mountains felt like I was inside a Khaled Hosseini novel.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Abdul was a legend with his local knowledge, patience and cheeky smile. Mohammad set the pace on the way down....you could tell he had done the climb 450 times!
Advice for Potential Travellers
Get fit, break in new hiking boots well in advance and don't forget to sun screen your neck (1 week later mine still matches my fuschia bedroom curtains!)

Totally amazing week spent in the Picos
The Picos is a fantastic area with wonderful scenery and mountain terrain. To walk in the Picos was a great way to see the area and get up and close to the peaks. The hotel was great with a lovely terrace bar over-looking the valley and peaks and it was a great way to end the day with a beer in hand here (who needs telly). The food at the hotel was amazing and the staff at the hotel went out of their way to ensure that all guests had a memorable experience – I know I did. I am vegetarian and did not struggle at all for food, the hotel caters for vegetarians and there was always a veggie option available – even packed lunches.

Cares Gorge - it took my breath away....
Thoughts on Group Leader
Alvero was just great, he has a kind, considerate and passionate attitude to everything that he does. He was always there for everyone in the group, from the slowest walker to the fastest walker. He knew the area and plants, animals, birds that lived there and would go into details explaining this.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Do this trip, do not hesitate...I had an amazing week and could not find fault in anything. Everything was just perfect.
