Baltis is a gem!!!!
3 countries in 12 days with fairytale old towns, culture, the music soul of the people, these countries have rich cultural traditions, centuries old folklore, song festivals of voices and UNESCO listed historic centers.
All the medieval towers and coloful facades walking through them feel likes stepping back in time.
Baltics offer untouched landscapes perfect for breathing fresh air from endless pine forest and serene lakes to the largest sand dune in Europe, the Curonian Spit.
When we visited the Hill of Crosses and saw everyone leaving their petitions, hopes, or wishes, hoping they would come true, it made me realize that so many of us were sharing that trip, each carrying our own vulnerable situations. It was a truly moving moment.
Andrew made the Baltics come alive for us!!!! Guiding us through history, culture, and hidden gems with passion and care, he really loves what he does. A huge thanks to Andrew, who not only showed us the best of Baltics but also made the entire trip fun and unforgettable!
Bring cash for small markets or rural stops, weather changes quickly even in summer, Umbrella and Comfy shoes are musts, this trip includes cobblestone streets, stairs, long walks with may be challenging for those with limited mobility, even though it’s a category level 1"Walking Tour", there’s a lot of walking around 10,000 to 17,000 steps a day and an approximate budget of 50–65 euros per day for meals. Lunch (based on the restaurants we visited) ranges between 20–35 euros including a drink (soda, water, juice, or a beer; wine increases the daily cost). Dinner is roughly the same amount, sometimes even more.
The guide was amazing, the food and hotel were really good. I was expecting to hike in the forest and mountains but it was more of a bird watching tour. So it was zero walking and lots and lots of bird watching standing still for long periods of time. It was not what i was looking for.
I love the boat rides in tortuguero and the zipline in monte verde
Really good, nice and a real encyclopedia
Don't do this tour if you want to hike. But if you like birds this is for you
This e-bike trip with Exodus was absolutely incredible. Riding from the Adriatic to the Tyrrhenian coast offered stunning views, charming villages, and amazing local food. The e-bikes made the hills manageable and fun, and our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and super organized. Everything from accommodations to luggage transfers ran smoothly. A perfect blend of adventure, culture, and comfort. Highly recommend!
Great tour guide, Ruben, made the trip really great.
Really enthusiastic and loved his job, and it showed. He booked some amazing local restaurants, with excellent food. Nothing was too much trouble for Ruben.
Our guides Ruben and Thomas were fantastic, loved the Loire Valley, our hotels were awesome, everything was perfect and the guys were so helpful. Lunches by Thomas were excellent. No complaints here
The castles and our wine experience with Danielle Gatey, very very special, learnt so much and I don't drink wine. I might do now tho
Rubin was fantastic, we were a small group of 5 so we got to know each other very well
Loved this place, especially the amazing French food we had for lunch in such pretty spots. This was our 6th cycling trip with Exodus, the local tour guides have all been awesome, very helpful and knowledgeable.
The food and wine tasting was amazing! And that bike ride along the Loire? The paths were perfect.
Very helpful, had a great sense of humor
Ruben and Thomas provided exceptional service showcasing the Loire Valley. The integrated cycling, wine tasting, and walking tours were outstanding.
Cycling through wonderful countryside.
Ruben possessed extensive expertise in all aspects of French history.
My trip to Sri Lanka was truly magical. Not only did we see over 100 elephants while on safari, but we also spent three hours gazing out of a train window at the misty tea hills of Nuwara Eliya. This trip was the perfect mix of sightseeing and activities – we travelled by boat, tuk-tuk, train, 4×4, and even on foot during a hike up Sigiriya! I travelled in September, so we had quite a bit of rain in Kandy, but it only added to the lush, tropical scenery, which was absolutely beautiful. Sri Lanka should be experienced by everyone!
Witnessing so many elephants gather around a watering hole with their babies whilst in Kaudulla National Park - just magical!
Mahen was charming, hilarious, and absolutely in love with his home. His knowledge of Sri Lanka was incredible, and there wasn’t a quiet moment on the trip when he wasn’t sharing a fascinating fact, piece of history, or story. Mahen adjusted the itinerary to suit our group’s needs and made sure we visited busier spots, such as Lion’s Rock and Kaudulla National Park, during quieter hours - we often felt like we had the attractions all to ourselves. Mahen’s co-pilot was equally wonderful and kind. He always greeted us with flowers when we boarded the coach, handed us umbrellas when it rained, and treated our luggage with such care. Thank you, Mahen and your co-pilot, for taking our trip above and beyond!
Take clothing for all types of weather. I visited in September, and Nuwara Eliya was very chilly, Kandy was very wet, and Colombo and Wattala were super hot! Be sure to bring plenty of suncream, cover-ups for temples, and a rain jacket.
I did this trip in September 2025 and this is by far the best one I have done so far. This trip shows you how diverse the country is with its different ecosystems and wildlife. From the Caribbean coast over to the Pacific. Everywhere you look there is an abundance of wildlife from the colourful birds and larger mammals/primates right down to the tiny frogs and leaf cutter ants.
There are so many, I think probably watching the Turtle nesting or the excitement of trying to spot the male Quetzal at 5am! Photographing my first Scarlet Macaw.
Johnny was fantastic, he knew the answer to absolutely every question that we could throw at him about the wildlife and country in general. He is very passionate about conservation and had many stories about how the country had changed and the people he has met. He arranged for extra walks not included in the itinerary and had an amazing eye for spotting things right in front of us that I would never had seen without him. I chose this departure because he was going to be the leader and he certainly went above and beyond.
Be prepared for all kinds of weather, one minute it would be nice and sunny and the next we were in a rain storm! Don't be put off by the rainy season, we experienced 3 afternoons of rain on the entire trip and the rain made it possible to see so many species on the night walk. Colonies are the currency here and you can get them in the UK before you fly but you can pay in US Dollars, (smaller notes, not many places can change anything above a $20) and nearly everywhere took some form of cards. Don't leave your souvenir shopping till the airport, if you see something grab it, the airport costs were very expensive.
