Highlights of Northern India 17th March

Hi
just wondering if there is anyone else around doing the Highlights of Northern India in March?

I'm travelling from Manchester on 16th and staying overnight in Delhi on 17th so will meet others at the airport ready for the drive to Jaipur ( or possibly at the Taj Princess if you are staying over the night before ?) on the 18th.

So excited to be going back - i went on a trip to the foothills of the Himalayas last September and now going back for some more of India !

be great to hear from anyone else going - never done an Exodus tour before and travelling solo

Hi Helen

I am also arriving a day early on 17th but flying from London. My flight arrives at 08:55am, so will also have a day and night in Delhi before meeting the group. What time do you arrive?

My first time to India.

Kerry

Hi Kerry,

Lovely to make contact, thanks for your message !!
I'm arriving at 7.30 am and then going to the Taj Princes hotel, is that where you are staying ? We could join up at some point if you'd like to ( after a kip i think !) at least to find some food together.

I went to India last sept, just up to the Himalayas for 10 days, yoga and trekking, so really looking forward being back there to see some of the sights.
Is there anything you're thinking of doing to do in Delhi on the 17th ?

Hi Helen, I'm travelling from Manchester on the 17th then onto Heathrow. Sounds a good idea what your doing!
Can't wait to see you - Jan :)

Hi Helen, apologies for the delayed response. I ticked the box to be notified if there was a reply but I did not receive any notification. We are staying at the same hotel and it would be great to meet up and venture out together. I had not got so far as planning what to do - I was intending to check the itinerary vs guidebook and see what appealed. So, I am open to suggestions if you have got further than me in your planning. This time next week we will be there!!!!

Really pleased to know that we can join up on the first day in Delhi. I'm thinking I'll probably try and get a couple of hours sleep in the morning and then perhaps visit a temple or the craft museum , find a market to explore nearby and get some food and then probably back to the hotel . Think that would be enough - Delhi is full on ! Though I only did a whistle stop tour last time I was there. A friend of mine has recently been for a few days so I'm going to talk to her today for some suggestions.
We could meet in the foyer lunchtime /early afternoon praps?
So excited ! Can't wait to set off
See you on the 18th Jan !

Hi Helen
That sounds great to me. As you will arrive at the hotel before me maybe you can leave me a note at reception with your room number so we can be in touch. My last name is Fleming. Looking forward to meeting you and our Indian adventure. Safe travels.
Kx

Good idea, I'll leave a note at reception - my name is Sutcliffe.

I have spoken to my friend and she has recommended a couple of places to eat. She used the metro too and said it was good and easy. Have a look and see what you fancy seeing.

What time shall we meet ? I guess it partly depends on planes arriving on time but perhaps around 1 ish ?
Safe travels and looking forward to meeting you in Delhi and Indian adventures.
Helenx
