Itinerary Expand all Kings Lynn to Kings Lynn Day 1 Arrive in Kings Lynn Arrive at your hotel, just outside of Kings Lynn. Day 2 Kings Lynn to East Rudham After your briefing you can choose your route for the day. All routes go through Castle Rising where you'll pass the fortifications which gave the village its name. Then, follow tree-lined avenues through the Sandringham Estate. The routes now split with the choice of going via Snettisham, with an optional extension to RSPB Snettisham, or to the lavendar fields at Heacham and on to the wide sandy beaches of the Wash. The routes then rejoin to pass Houghton Hall, a splendid Palladian house built by Sir Robert Walpole, Great Britain's first Prime Minister before arriving at your overnight stop. Meals included: Breakfast Day 3 East Rudham to Holt Today your route takes you on quiet country lanes to the Norfolk Coast AONB. Explore Holkham Hall, an 18th Century Palladian-style mansion and continue through Holkham National Nature Reserve through the dunes to the beach at Wells. Follow the promenade along the estuary to Wells-next-the-Sea, a pretty harbour town with plenty of options for lunch. Follow gravel tracks and lanes to reach the monastic ruins of Binham Priory, founded in 1091 and continue to Holt, a Georgian market town where you will spend the next 2 nights. Meals included: Breakfast Day 4 At holt A range of routes are available to you today - Ride to the coast and the villages of Morston and Blakeney from where you can take boat trips to see the seals, or take the North Norfolk Railway steam train (payable locally) to Sheringham, from where you'll cycle on to Cromer. Or head towards the Blickling Estate, with a Jacobean red brick mansion and on to Aylsham from where you have the option of taking the steam train to Wroxham where you can go on a boat trip on the Norfolk Broads. Meals included: Breakfast Day 5 From Holt to Kings Lynn Today cycle through a series of villages on quiet country lanes. Visit the Steam Museum at Thursford, with the world's largest collection of steam engines and organs. Cycle on through Little Walsingham, a place of religious pilgrimage with the Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham just outside the village. Cycle back through the Sandringham Estate to the hotel.
