Photographic Special with Andrew Newey
Ethiopia: The Omo Valley – 13 October 2012
The Omo Valley Andrew Newey specialises in people photography and joins us on this special departure to a unique part of Ethiopia. Over 20 different tribes live in The Omo Valley, all with their own cultural identity. Shopping in a local market you may well rub shoulders with people adorned with lip plates, elaborate body painting or colourful jewellery.

Travelling sensitively, you may get the chance to take photos of some of the people you meet – always only with their permission. The wildlife of the Rift Valley Lakes also presents some great opportunities.

36 hour old lion cubs,Masai MaraKenya Photographic Safari - Trip code: AYX (led by Paul Goldstein) 2012
Fabulous migration wildlife and plenty of time allowed for photography on the plains of East Africa. This safari embodies all of those fantastic images and does it in superb style - a classic safari in a classic destination. When you only have a relatively short time in Kenya it is essential to maximize it in the reserves and not waste time travelling all over the country.
