Wish I WAS going......we did this trip last March-April....best fun we have ever had.  And the roads...WOW!

Say hello to the Hai Van Pass - and to the descent after the night in Dalat.  Epic!!

Thanks -

Thanks for the good feed back pleased to hear its a good trip really looking forward to going as heard great things about Vietnam, have you done any other trips?

Louise

We are doing the Gorillas -

We are doing the Gorillas and Masai Mara trip leaving 27th Dec - looking forward to some winter sun....

These are our only 2 Exodus trips so far but had wonderful time in Peru 4 years ago with TheRealPeru - Inca trail wellworth the effort and machu Picchu amazing...

But Vietnam is a stunningly beautiful country - wish we has roads as good as that for cycling here!! We would do the whole trip all over again tomorrow given half the chance, it was that much fun.  Trying to think of some tips or helpful suggestions, but cant think of any!!  That's how well organised and smooth-running it was.  If you are lucky enough to have Linh as your guide, be prepared for some entertaining evenings and self-written songs!  Priceless!!

cycle vietnam 21 st Jan -
We did the Central American cycle trip in 2009. Somehow I had not noticed at time of booking that it was Moderate/Challanging but not only did we cope, we thoroughly enjoyed it.  Anyhow it was on that trip that we  heard great reports from others who had been on the Vietman trip so we are full of happy anticipation esp as it is classed as moderate. Can anyone who is going or who has been on this trip tell us what vaccinations are advisable? Are malaria tablets necessary?  Nearly didn't book this trip due to someone's feedback re cockroaches on the train but decided not to be such a wus! Looking forward to meeting you in Jan.  Una and John

Hi Both my son has been on the sleper train he says its a great experience and not that bad at all, as I was not overly lookng forward to it myself. You will need the malaria tablets and you can find information regarding vaccinations in the before you go section.Good to hear about the central america ride and how you coped as we have not been able to get on our bikes as much as we would have liked to do this year.Look forward to meeting you both and our fellow travellers in Jan

Hi Folks,

Maureen and I are doing the Cambodia trip before Vietnam, so we'll see you when you arrive in Saigon.  Looking forward to an exciting trip.  We did the Inca Trail with Exodus 4 years ago.  If the Vietnam trip comes close to that, we will be very pleased!!

Hi Louise/Alex,

Kristyna and I will be joining you for the trip.  We did Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam with Exodus last year, and we had a great time.  We only had three days in Vietnam last year, and the trip finished in Saigon.  We are travelling out the day before the trip starts, so look forward to meeting up with you at the hotel.
