Highlights of China 28/29th April 2012 - Anybody going

We are just thinking about booking this but not sure whether to book our own flights and go from Manchester with Lufthansa. Have you booked the whole thing including flights?

 Never done Asia before.

Hi, yes we've been booked on for a while waiting for it to be confirmed!  Now it's confirmed we're heading to Hong Kong for 3 days before joining the tour.  Looking forward to it.

 We're avid/sad BA Miles (now Avios) points collectors so we're going with BA and booked our own internal flight to join the tour on the 29th in Beijing.

We've loved the tours in India and hope/suspect China will be a similar experience.

We have actually booked the mid May departure now as I read somewhere that it would be busier than normal in 1st week of May as it is holiday time. I hope you find it okay.

We have now booked our own fights as well with Emirates, so hopefully it will all work out okay.

Hope it is as good as the India tour for us all. Looking forward to it.

Sorry for slow reply - the automatic notification of replies doesn't seem to work!  I just checked in case and saw your emails!

I'm travelling with my friend Matt (we're 33 and 34) and we're going on the group flights from Heathrow - we had credit to use with Exodus so it worked out better for us to do it that way.  We normally travel indepently but I've been on one other Exodus tour (Egypt) and two with Explore.  I had a fab time on those so really looking forward to China.

 There are 2 of us going not much older than you are.  I am originally from Cubbington and lived in Warwick for 5 years before escaping, I mean relocating to Birmingham.
