Snow Bound !

Tone, I know what you mean - I'm booked on a trip out of Gatwick to Morocco (TMA) on Sunday and I'm currently sitting in my office about 10 miles from the airport watching the snow bucket down! If the last downfall in early December is anything to go by I'm not sure whether LGW will be open! I guess we can only wait and see!

I am unable to get to the airport in Belfast let alone any further and like heathrow or Amman. Looks like I will be missing my long awaited holiday.
I have chatted to my insurer and they said the holiday cost will be claimable but not the flights.
I'm flying on Saturday on AXJ to Damascus.
What happens if this forecasted snow arrives in Britain on Friday and the bus cannot get me (us) from Cardiff to Heathrow on time on Saturday !!
Damascus Airport shut on Monday/Tuesday due to heavy snow in Syria. What if that re-occurs ?
