A fascinating exploration of snow-capped mountains, coffee plantations, laid-back beaches and colonial history

One of South America's most beautiful and interesting countries, Colombia is still largely undiscovered despite its amazing variety of landscapes, sights and cultures.
On this diverse two-week trip we experience the contrasts between the lively and cosmpolitan capital, Bogota, the atmospheric cobbled streets and well-preserved colonial buildings of Cartagena, and the laid-back and welcoming countryside.
We explore the rolling hills of the central Coffee Zone, as well as taking time out to relax in hammocks near the superb Caribbean beaches of Tayrona National Park.
What makes this trip responsible?
On this trip we use a local leader and local guides and we stay in small locally-owned hotels wherever possible, ensuring that we contribute directly to the local economy. We visit several national parks, and the money from our entrance fees goes towards helping the conservation efforts of the Natural National Parks Authority.
