Classic safari in some of the most exclusive, game-filled parks in Southern Africa

Starting in the rain-drenched hills of Angola, the Okavango River meanders its way towards the Kalahari in Botswana where, in the heat of the desert, it evaporates, never reaching the sea. The Okavango Delta, which results from this phenomenon, is one of the largest inland deltas in the world and one of nature's great wonders.
We start our journey through the wilds of Botswana by exploring the delta by mokoro (dugout canoe) and on foot in search of the many species that reside here.
We then head out to the otherworldly beauty and silence of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. Briefly leaving Botswana behind, we visit another natural wonder, the mighty Victoria Falls, where the Zambezi plunges over 100m into a narrow gorge. Returning to Botswana we then visit Chobe National Park, known for having the highest concentration of elephants in Africa.
Continuing to the Savuti Marsh and, finally, Moremi Game Reserve, we explore a number of ecosystems from marsh and grasslands to mopani and acacia forests, home to a prolific amount of wildlife.
Please note: This trip has had a name change for 2013 season, the trip was formerly called: Highlights of Botswana
