Quiet trails, clear air and magnificent views - climb Mt Toubkal in winter

During the winter months Mt Toubkal and the surrounding peaks of the High Atlas turn into a winter walkers' paradise. It is a great time to visit, the mountains are virtually deserted apart from the local Berbers and a handful of enthusiasts, and the air is clear, rewarding us with spectacular views. Starting from fascinating Marrakech we venture right into the heart of the High Atlas to climb North Africa's highest peak (4167m). Crampons and ice axes may be required on many of the days, but this trip is designed to be non-technical and achievable by those who are enthusiastic, but new to winter walking.

Day 1	Fly to Marrakech.
Day 2	Drive to Imlil, short walk and free time.
Day 3 - 6	Climb Toubkal, Ouanoukrim and Tizi Ouanoums.
Day 7	To Marrakech; free afternoon.
Day 8	Fly to London.
