Danube Trips

Walking and cycling holidays along the Austrian Danube are a great introduction to adventure holidays. But holidays here have an important cultural aspect too, and there’s great food and wine on offer as well. Our Danube holidays are the perfect way to see some of the most dramatic and culturally significant sites in Europe, with self-guided cycling routes along the riverbank offering both a gentle ride and a rewarding tapestry of castles, monasteries and lush green valleys. The Danube is one of Europe’s most significant arterial rivers and has long played an important strategic role in central and eastern European political, cultural and trade development.
