Dalmatian Coast Trips

This pristine coastline is more than 1,700km and home to terracotta-roofed houses, ancient buildings and soaring mountains. Whether you prefer to explore on foot or by bike, our Dalmatian Coast trips introduce you to some of the most beautiful parts of southern Croatia. Lush islands that pepper the coastline offer natural diversity and guide you to hidden pockets of discovery.

If you want to discover Europe on a cycling trip, there are few places more beguiling than the Dalmatian Coast. Ride quiet seafront roads and enjoy unparalleled views as you travel between vineyards, villages and towns. There are so many places to discover, such as the UNESCO city of Dubrovnik, the islands of Hvar and Korčula, and the Pelješac Peninsula. Alternatively, go on an island-hopping adventure or take a cultural tour of Dalmatia and sample the famous wines of Lumbarda.

Croatia is filled with history, and old towns protected by medieval walls tell the country’s colourful past. From centuries-old churches and monasteries to baroque palaces and maritime heritage, you’ll get a deeper insight into the country on our Dalmatian Coast tours. The UNESCO city of Split is another wonderful destination, where modern culture and Roman landmarks exist harmoniously. Add to this a mountainous backdrop and emerald waters, and you have one of the most scenic settings on our Dalmatian Coast trips.

Kissed by the Mediterranean sun, Croatia is also world-renowned for its stylish restaurants and pavement cafes. You’ll find it hard to resist traditional dishes such as black risotto, Istrian ham and the freshest seafood you’ve ever tasted.

Walking & Trekking

This trip was absolutely amazing! The route was beautifully planned, with breathtaking coastal views, island villages, and so much natural beauty. Cycling through the islands of Hvar and Korcula was a highlight, and ending in the stunning city of Dubrovnik was the perfect finale. Plus, taking a swim in the sea after a long day of biking was the best way to cool off. It was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation—highly recommend it!

I have never been to Croatia and did not know what to expect and was wonderfully surprised! It is a beautiful country with so much history and natural beauty. There is a lot of Italian architectures, beautiful beaches and history. The walks were gentle walks except went walking up the peak of Montokuc on Mljet Island which is challenging but there are other things to do on the Island. The food was amazing and produce locally. There is a good choice of vegetarian and vegan meals. I would definitely recommend this trip as it’s a nice introduction to Croatia.

Identifying the specific thing that makes this trip memorable is impossible. Croatia’s vibe is uniquely its own. The country and it’s people are welcoming, cosmopolitan, small town warmth, pragmatic and joyful all at once.

There’s was not a single second that was disappointing. The small group focus of the tour allowed for connecting with other tour members which enhanced the experience. Visiting small local businesses like the winery in Ston and Lumbarda felt like we were being welcomed into their homes.

Our tour leader was the amazing Vajna! If you are blessed to have her as your guide rest assured you are in fantastic hands, she is thoughtful, full of knowledge and I simply cannot say enough about Vajna or this trip!

I’ve been home for a week and have not stopped smiling.
