Cycling - tough or what?

Hi folks, I'm due to travel on 8th June from Dublin for this trip? I've never travelled with Exodus before and never done a cycling holiday before, so I'm a total rookie! Anybody got views and tips about the cycling aspect? How tough is it overall? What's the terrains like? As ill be travelling in June I reckon it'll be very hot and humid. How does this impact on the cycling? Any views would be appreciated! Thanks, Siobhan

Hi Siobhan,

I'm heading over from NZ for this trip too. Like you, I haven't been on an Exodus or cycling tour before but by all accounts it will be wicked! Sounds like the terrain is pretty flat (bar one sweet mountain climb) with plenty of stops along the way so I guess as long as we are "saddle fit" and prepared to be dripping with sweat from the humidity (both on and off bike!) we will be fine.

Looking forward to escaping the NZ winter for a few weeks!

Hi Maria, yes I think the humidity will be the biggest challenge!! Looking forward to the trip! Crap weather in Dublin too so any chance of heat will be a bonus!

True that, winter has arrived thick and fast here! Do you know how many other's are on this tour? My flight lands at 1055am on the 9th - hopefully everyone else is at a similar time so we can all start exploring Ho Chi Minh together.
