Hi,

I'm going on this trip too . . . my first exodus trip.  Bit worried about my fitness levels, and my skill level, but I'm happy to bring up the rear :)

Hi Kathryn

Good to hear you are going and you are not the only one worried about fitness so I will join you at the back.

Sapna

Hi everyone.

I'll be on this trip too.... also need to ramp up my cycling fitness so I'll be at the back too :-)

I am in the process of training for an 8 mile cross country run in 11 days.

Having read the reviews - I hope we get some decent bikes!

Count me in! I'm coming too..... :-)

Is everybody on the group flight or are any of you guys making your own way out there?

Ant

There's gonna be a lot of us at the back...!

No snow in Morocco, no pressures of Christmes either & loads of cycling woo hoo

re 'decent bikes' - was told when I booked that new bikes going out in December :-)

Good to see a number of people going

Both Des and I on arranged flight out and back.  Probably in London night before for last minute meal and night life before the hard work begins.

I'm on the group flight (primarily in order to get back - sleepy eyed - into London earlier on Boxing day).

I live in the north east which has been under snow for the last 2 weeks which makes me feel less guilty about the fact that even if i'd wanted to, I wouldn't have been able to get out on my bike!

See you all in a week or two.

I'm making my own way out there on the Saturday, then I'm stopping over a few extra days to enjoy the sun!

See you all soon!

didn't realise anyone had replied to my original message - that will teach me to trust technology ;-)

I am on the group flight from Gatwick on Sunday, started packing already :) I am coming up from Bournemouth so going to get there early as poss, so if you see some random bloke checking out your luggage labels  . .  it might be me :)

I asked about weather & clothing last week this is what they said - hope it might help . .

My advise is to be prepared for all weather, as you never know. So windproof /waterproof jacket, thermal layer, cycling tights/ leggings, long fingered gloves, aside cycling gloves, I also take a woolly hat for the evening. Late afternoon the temperature drops especially in the mountains and there are a couple of big descents at the end of the day which can get very chilly in December. Also I recommend in the evening to have a fleece, a good warm jumper and obviously long trousers/jeans as Tafraout and Immouzer especially, can get chilly in the evenings. Temperatures during the day should be early 20's so shorts and t-shirts normally are fine, but like I have mentioned always good to have extra layers incase and for the end of the day.

I'll also be on the group flight.

If any of you are staying in London try to look out for a few hundred in-line skaters dressed as Santa on Saturday evening (weather permitting).... I'll be one of them!

I look forward to see you all soon.

Hi ! I'm coming on the trip too... arranged own flight with Easyjet from Gatwick which I think gets in a bit earlier than the group flight. Thanks for the packing advice Nige, sounds like all types of weather are possible!

 Suzanne

cheers for weather & clothing info

NigeW

hope we are all ok for getting there tomorrow . .  looks like it might be quite a bit of time spent in the bar based on today ;-)
