Great amalfi experience
great hikes along the coast combined with visiting local towns, swimming in the Mediterranean, exploring Pompeii and Vesuvius and Herculaneum. Most of the hikes offer unique views and explorations of the area which our guide knew well, but it can be VERY hot in the area in July and hikes are rarely on level ground.
Most Inspirational Moment
The great views while on hikes, seeing Herculaneum with few people there, walking the rim of Mt. Vesuvius.
Thoughts on Group Leader
guide was good , she knew the area well, was conscious of hikers different abilities,
Advice for Potential Travellers
There is a day off, I would try to organize what u would anticipate what u want to do ahead of time (Capri, kayak, etc).

Walking The Amalfi Coast
Although the weather was extremely hot we kept to our scheduled itinerary, taking in Herculiam as a extra bonus on the way back to the airport. We managed two sea swims at the end of a couple of walks , and I can tell you floating on you back in a warmish sea looking back up to the cliffs where we had just walks was wonderful.
Most Inspirational Moment
Not sure the was one inspirational moment , may be the views from the cliff footpaths ?
Thoughts on Group Leader
Ace, could very easily run out of superlatives, nothing was too much trouble , and the polite insistence on drink stops was on reflection essential. As stated the extra trip to Herrculiam was her idea and well worth it.
5 Stars
Advice for Potential Travellers
Take sun block if its hot.

Cycle the Baltics
A most enjoyable and informative holiday. The tour leader Lukas was very knowledgeable on the history of the three countries and was passionate in sharing that knowledge.
Most Inspirational Moment
Cycling through villages where the locals were all industriast in growing flowers and vegetables in their very tidy and neatly laid out gardens.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Lukas was exceptional in the amount of knowledge that he had to hand each day, in respect of which ever country we were in at the time. He was always conscious of health & safety and aware of the various abilities of his group. Lukas was anxious that we were informed of the best eating places and went the extra mile by taking us to them and joining us on several occasions.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Make sure that you choose a holiday suited to your ability if looking for an adventure holiday, this will ensure that you and your fellow travellers take the most enjoyment on offer.

Good trip, but some areas that need attention
Overall this is a really great trip, where you get to see some lovely places. There are only modest coach transfers which is great as maximises the time on the bike and/or sightseeing vs taking out some of the less attractive bits of road. There is variety in the cycling over the trip, which meant it was always interesting.
Most Inspirational Moment
Some of the smaller towns were really lovely. The cycling around the Czech-Austrian border was very picturesque as well.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Dana was a great leader, but there is too much going on for one person to manage. There were a number of issues that she had to deal with, but she always maintained a smile.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Consider buying your own map of the area. Check out the Budapest hotel, particularly if you are staying on.
Reply from Exodus
We would like to thank Keith and Nicola for their review regarding the set-up of the trip and the hotel used in Budapest; we are reviewing these aspects with our local operator and we are confident that this will prevent any similar disappointments from recurring going forward.

Gentle walking holiday in Non touristy part of Italy.
This is a gentle walking holiday introducing you to a non touristy part of Italy even in July. It is very hot in July and that was our biggest hurdle.
Most Inspirational Moment
Seeing the view of the Trullis in Alberobello for the first time and also Matera.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Salvatore was excellent. He was informative and patient with a few members of our group who were difficult!! He made sure we always had advice on what to do and where to eat. He was also training Marinella so had that added responsibility. He dealt with a few people who were suffering with the heat in a very kind and compassionate way.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Its easy walking and without the mid summer heat would be no challenge to some people. The scenery is lovely but not especially beautiful. But if you want to see a part of Italy you haven't been to before i would definately recommend it. Alberobello and Matera are both stunning as was our day trip to Lecce.

Walking in Albania
This is the third time I have walked in Albania and it was the best. The revised itinerary with more walking in the Theth National Park and the contrasting landscape of Rubik improves the experience. Each year the accommodation and food improves so now the while holiday is a really high standard, yet Albania still retains a “different” atmosphere making it still an adventure, and the people are all really welcoming to visitors.
Most Inspirational Moment
Achieving all the walks without feeling stiff the next day - this has taken several months of training. Mastering a few more words of Albanian. A superb fun-filled evening in Berat.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Nothing is too much trouble for Dorien, he constantly made sure that everyone was happy by discussing and explaining options for meals, stops etc. He completely gets the English sense of humour and helps to generate a good group atmosphere from the start. His knowledge of Albanian history is extensive but not overbearing. He is able to get the best from the local providers - guides, horse owners and guesthouse staff because of his long experience and good reputation.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Take a head torch for the occasional power cut and the cave visit
Take walking poles
Above all - go to Albania and experience the wonderful scenery and friendly people for yourself. See a country that although almost on our doorstep still has something a little undiscovered to offer.

Mont Blanc Highlights
Excellent relaxing & stimulating break in the Alps. Despite the unexpected heatwave our guide still managed to show us all the Mont Blanc highlights. Having booked very last minute we were glad to get a chalet spot as well as all the information needed to catch-up with the group on arrival. Would highly recommend for a quick early summer trek to blow all the cobwebs away. Returned refreshed & rejuvenated – Cheers !
Most Inspirational Moment
On day one a paraglider landed in the field in front of the whole group before we'd even set-off for our first trek. Needless to say by the end of the trip more than half had booked a paragliding jump. Also being spied on by Marmots as we decended into the valley - little did the chubby fellow know we were looking for him !
Thoughts on Group Leader
Simon was flexible enough to ensure we all got the best out of the trip given our differing abilities. Having different options at certain points allowed everyone to enjoy there holiday at their own pace. On a more personal level I enjoyed his very dry sense of humour - back of Beyonce made me chuckle every time. Thanks Simon - my vision in Blue !
Advice for Potential Travellers
Definately get a bit of hill-walking in before the holiday - it will make all the difference & just in case your wondering yes you are trekking the alps & yes they are steep yet so worth the view !

Great food, excellent company and good walking in awesome scenery!
Most Inspirational Moment
Finding out that there are times where "awesome" is the only word that suits the wonder of the landscape.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Jen was great, encouraging the group onwards and upwards, sharing her enthusiasm for the mountains.
Advice for Potential Travellers
You don't enjoy scenery like this without walking uphill! Walk regularly and often before you go and don't forget you start at 1000m so you need the first day to acclimatise. After that you'll be itching to return for the full circuit, I know I am!

high inca trail
Salcantay part of the trip was spectacula, with many plants flowering,
The Inca Trail was also amazing and beautiful, with the incredible Inca sites interpruted extremely well by our guide Bobby.
Cuzco is a great city.
Most Inspirational Moment
Learning about the Inca history
Thoughts on Group Leader
Bobby, our guide was informative, interactive ,passionate about his country, Peru and the history of the Incas.
I think small flora & fauna books would be very much appreciated & would enhance the experience.
Reply from Exodus
We would like to thank Judith for her review, although we are very sorry that she was disappointed with certain aspects of the trip, in particular the hotel used. Further to clients’ feedback we have made the decision not to use this property until we are confident that the building works have been completed and there will be no disruption to our clients; the property will be inspected before our groups are allocated rooms in the hotel.
