Our People, Places & Planet plan guides us towards our mission of improving life through travel – for the places we visit on our adventures, the people we meet and the planet we explore. As part of our plan we are putting nature first in the following ways:

We carefully choose partners and suppliers that are invested in supporting low impact travel and protecting natural areas and wild spaces.
To maximise value and employment for rural communities, we stay at locally owned hotels and eat in independent restaurants serving locally grown produce.
We continuously engage with our supplier partners and share best practices on environmental initiatives such as eliminating single-use plastics, serving more plant-based meals and cutting food waste.
Through our Exodus Travels Foundation, we fund community-based conservation and nature restoration and regeneration initiatives that protect biodiversity and help restore the planet.
We contribute towards nature regeneration through our commitment to rewild 100 square metres for every passenger who books with us.
We measure and report on our carbon footprint annually and have a detailed carbon reduction plan in place
We have a stringent animal welfare policy which includes dos and don’ts when viewing or encountering wildlife on our adventures

We are pursuing a nature positive future.

To minimise our negative impact, Exodus puts nature and biodiversity gain through conservation and regeneration at the heart of our decision-making, trip design and our work in our destination communities.

The climate crisis, growth of invasive species and human impact from land use changes and pollution are causing major biodiversity loss. Protecting the unique ecosystems that we continue to explore on our adventures is more important than ever for the survival of all species who inhabit our beautiful planet.
