i did the cycling trip to Albania in June 14th two years ago. Loved the country, people and food. Stayed in a mix of guest houses and hotels etc which were very good considering the fact that the country is still quite poor! Have stayed in worse places in France and Italy!

I absolutely loved the food! 

I found the cycling hard as I had not done an cycling beforehand. Every year plan to do lots before trips and never do. i even did the Llonguara Pass ( not sure I am spelling it correctly)  but lots of people took the bus.  The backup was superb and we had coffee, snacks and lunches and paid a pittance for it at the end of the week. I would rate this trip as good as Tuscany and the 

Hi Lolly. It all sounds great, and I'm really looking forward to it. I've being doing some background reading too on some of the places we visit. One question - do I need to take a bidon (waterbottle) or two, or does the back-up wagon carry water? If it does I'll manage with a mineral water bottle from the supermarket, and top-ups!
