AJG - 26th September 2014 - Anyone going?

Just wondering if there's anyone else booked on this yet? I'm aware of three others (my wife and two friends of ours).

Looking forwad to it, as it'll be my 4th safari with Exodus and can't wait to see the wildlife again, and really looking forward to the snorkling - not usually an option when on safari ;-)

Hiya, I haven't booked yet but I should be going on this trip as a solo traveller. Are all of you flying from London?

yes, the 4 of us will be flying from London.  Exodus tend to block book seats, so there's a good chance you'll be sat next to someone on the trip on the flight.  Only 11 months to go!

Grant :-)

I didn't realise this was reverse itinerary until my confirmation stuff came through today, oh well, Victoria Falls sooner than expected!

yes there is a reverse itinerarary (they operate one trip up, one trip down), but I thought that this one was Johannesburg up to Vic Falls?

So did I until I got my info pack from them and looked at the flights. I called them up and they said it's defo reverse and it's now the 2 trips either side (advertised as reverse) that is now the Jo'burg-Vic route.

Have you not had your flight info yet?

Oh well, would have preferred the Jo'berg to Vic falls route, but hey ho, just assumed it would run in the same order as for the 2013 dates.

I see that they've also axed Antelope Park from the 2014 route, so we get a more leisurely drive and more time at Great Zimbabwe.  Shame, as I was looking forward to the night drive with ALERT, and it's a safari so it's not supposed to be about comfort, more about seeing the wildlife.  Bit dissaponting, but the rest of it still looks great.

Just over a month to go - anyone else going?

Just to say that the Chobe day trip in Vic Falls goes into Botswana, so a double or multi-entry visa will be required for Zimbabwe.
