Anyone else going on the Egyptology trip March 6-19th?

This is the trip of a lifetime for me and I am so excited, I can hardly contain myself.

There are four of us who are flying out of Toronto to Cairo on Mar. 4th arriving Mar 5th and staying @the Pyramid Parks Hotel.  This is the hotel where we convene on Mar 6th to start our tour.  It would be nice to hear from other people who will be on our group.

Egypt – Land of the Pharaohs!  Here come the Canucks!

yes, I am the second of four (?) lets hope all is well in Egypt ! ! !

Glad to hear it!  I have a feeling that it will have the best trip.

Anyone else???

Hi All!We are having a great time in Egypt!  Have seen the Pyramids and nearly cried with excitement ... very emotional.  Kathy has been very adventureous ... she even went down a small tunnel to the centre of one of the smaller ones and even has the photos to prove it. Has left her with sore legs, but she enjoyed it.After a rickitty train ride overnight, we made it to Aswan and we're in a glorious hotel overlooking the dunes and the Nile River.  The night we arrived in Aswan, we heard there was trouble stirring again in Cairo.  But not to worry, we are fine.  Our tour guide, Zaid, is great and he's taken us everywhere.  The people are so thankful to have us back that they are going out of their way to accommodate us.  Tomorrow, we go to Abu Simbel and at night we board the Cruise ship that will take us down the Nile to Luxor and other sites. Please pass this message to others who might be interested.  Thanks.Aida - the One & Only

Well it is count down - 2 days left in wonderful Egypt. I would  highly recommend this trip to anyone . . .  we have one more train ride (no the best) and then one day of sight seeing before we get a free night in Gay Paris courtesy of Air France . .  so we will have more tales to tell and more pictures to share  . . .  All the best to our friends and look out do we have pictures . . . .  Kathy

The brochure promised to be a trip of a lifetime and ... it was!  Every day was full of discovery and visting sites that I'd only dreamed for so long and now they were in front of my eyes ... could not believe it.  Our tour guide, Zaid, was ... awesome, awesome, awesome!  Oh, did I say that he was awesome?  He was.  He saw to our every need, anticipated every move and was ready for anything.  Very smart, a wealth of information, and extremely nice to us and everyone that he encountered.  The trip was flawless because of his organization which left us only to enjoy every moment of our trip.

Egyptian people are wonderful and everywhere I was greeted with a genuine 'Welcome'. They are going through some challenging times right now, but do not let that deter you from visiting. Thank you Exodus for running a top-notch company.  Thank you Zaid for your care, knowledge and for being such a nice person.  Thank you Egypt I felt privileged to have visited The Land of the Pharaohs.
