AYX - Photographic Safari

HI,

I'm Paul.

This will be my first safari and also my first photographic holiday so I'm kind of nervous and excited at the same time hoping to get some photos I'm happy with - my own worst critic sometimes - and have a good time.

Any tips on what I should expect?

Anyone else in the forum here going on this trip? Drop in and say "hi"....

 Hi Paul

Yep, I'm on the trip and this is also my first photographic trip.  Been on a few safaris before, but not to Kenya.

I've booked myself a place for the  Polar Journeys Slideshow on the 26th Aug which is being presented by the photographer taking our trip.  Thought it might be interesting and I might get a few hints about our trip.

I'm replying on behalf of Paul as he's great with cameras but not so great with other technology!

Probably the best thing to do is pick up the current Wanderlust to see what these safaris are like, there is a 6 page article on a Migration trip from last year.
Come to the talk on the 1st September, it will be more appropriate. I look forward to meeting you.

Hi!

I'm Charlotte.

Really excited! I've been on safari before but it's my first photographic trip. Don't worry. I suspect it will be me that gets told off for my poor shots. Especially if I get too excited about what we see!

See you soon

Hi

I'm Anthony.

This is my first safari and I'm very excited about the trip. I've just watched the final BBC program Wildest Dreams which takes place on the Masi Mara. The region looks spectacular and as well as seeing the scenery and wildlife I hope it give a good idea to how our week there will be. I also found it useful to see what clothes one should take with.

Looking forward to meeting everyone

Anthony
