Looking forward to joining up for Mont Blanc Circuit 31 July

Hi, my name is Peter. I'm from Dublin. I'm booked on the Mont Blanc Circuit trip commencing 31 July 2011. This is my second Exodus trip in as many years, I did the Circuit of the Matterhorn trip last year.

Hoping for great weather on this trip. I've decided to stay on for a few days in Chamonix after TWB ends to try and do one or two Alpine peaks. We'll see how that goes...

Anyone else on the trip want to say hello?

Hi - I'm on this trip too. I went to Morocco with Exodus 4 years ago and did the Mount Toubkal trek. I'm taking every opportunity to walk up hills between now and the 31st in preparation - not too many alpine style peaks in Cornwall though!

Hi, I'm coming along too. I've also been on a Morocco trek doing Toubkal -quite a while ago now and with another company. I managed a couple of munros the weekend before last so hope that helps with the preparation! Very wet camping weekend in the Dales last weekend -hope we're going to get better weather! Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi All, I'm Nick.

I am booked on this trip, first time with Exodus though have done a number of hikes including Wainwrights coast to coast, not camped for a while mind, looking forward to meeting up with everybody and having a great 2 weeks.

Hi, I'm Suzanne, I'll be on your trip next week - looks great from the photos. I've done a couple of Exodus trips before; South America by truck in 2007 and the U.S Southwest National Parks in 2004.

Never been to the Alps before, but have been following the Tour de France with interest and the scenery looks epic!

Done no walking prep at all - guess I'll just cross that Col when I come to it...  See you all next weekend.

PS Top tip, if you haven't a headtorch - get one! single best purchase I made on my last Exodus camping trip.

Not long now! Really looking forward to it :)

Went To Borneo with Exodus a few years ago - amazing (although the food was dire). Can't imagine we will have that problem in France and Italy!

Have been using the treadmill ALOT (up hill!) but my pre-walk walk to Box Hill was a wash-out.

Can't decide whether or not to bring my brolly.....

Cathryn x

looked at Alpine weather yesterday - brrrr....colder than here. Ooof - packing dilemmas! Still not sure what moderate/challenging means in walking terms....thinking that company will make it all feel better!

Well peeb's, it's not long to go now, is everyone packed as I am not. Looking forward to meeting up with you all, either at the camp site or the airport for those on the group flight, look out for me in the Tour de France baseball cap...
