Who's for cocktails?

Looking forward to hearing from anyone else on the "A Taste of Cuba" trip.

Only booked this trip 2 weeks ago and it's my first time with Exodus.  I'm looking forward to some winter sun.  Loads of people have said Cuba is great.  Lets hope there's no more snow at gatwick!

Me too! I'm counting the hours -- have fancied Cuba for ages but was driven to doing something by desperate need for sun & going stir crazy snowed in a few weeks ago! I'm going out  a few days early to see Havana/go bach before trip proper starts - so guess I will meet you guys at the hotel? (must look at the paperwork!) Also must book a hotel for 3 nights - anyone got any recs?! How many of us are there, does anyone know?? Also first time for Exodus here.

Hi there Karen and Lilian

Thanks for your replies.  I knew there must be someone else out there looking forward to Cuba!  Exodus says there's 18 of us booked.

I too am fed up with the cold & snow here in Yorkshire so have actually started packing.

2nd time with Exodus for me.  Did Tanzania Adventure in Feb 2008.  Met some lovely prople & had a great time.

Lilian - Reading the trip notes I wonder if we may stay in 2 different Havana hotels so wonder if Exodus could let you know which they are as they must think OK.

Karen - See you at Gatwick.

Now . . . where are those summer T-shirts!      Kim.

Been wanting to go to Cuba for ages too. Looking forward to some sunshine, mojitos and exploring the towns. Anyone else up for a spot of salsa while we are there?

Yes, Travelbug_38, looking forward to all those things whilst in Cuba.  Want to do the catamaran trip too and meet those iguanas and tree rats.

Hi, like everyone else I'm looking forward to a bit of sun (and rum!). Will definitely be up for some salsa too. This will the second time I've used Exodus. Went to Solvenia to trek over the Apls last year which was fantastic.

Catch you all soon

Are you guys travelling with rucksacks or cases? Not long now. Very excited. Viki

So glad someone else has the same dilemma!  It's always the small details that get me.  Probably going for a kit bag. K

Hi Everyone

Will be using a wheeled hold-all as checked in luggage and a medium rucksack as hand luggage.  I've used this combination before and found it works OK as I use trains & tube to get to and across London.  Hope the packing goes well.  See you all soon!!!  Kim.

I will probably decide what to take when I am packing on saturday evening - normal forward planning!  Viki
