Anyone experienced camping in Namibia? Any tips please?

We went on the camping trip a couple of years ago and had a great time. I was slightly wary of camping having not done it for a while, but the tents are put up for you and taken down and are not tiny. The food cooked over the fire is great - the trip notes say it's not cordon bleu but you're well fed and it's surprising what the cook creates. We bought new sleeping bags (our old ones were big and bulky) - lightweight 2 season ones and were not warm enough in October, I thought the rating would be okay but we wore our fleeces a couple of nights. If you need to get up in the night, I found a solution to take with me, rather than worry about what might be lurking outside the tent. They're called Peebols - I'll let you Google!! Not exactly elegant but I would certainly use them again. Another other questions -just ask. :)
