Going on a grand adventure in Sicily

Hello,

Just a little note to see if anyone else is booked on the Sicily Grand Tour departing 9th September. Sicily has been on my 'places to visit' list for a little while, encouraged by watching Inspector Montalbano and the recent BBC program on Sicily. Looking forward to exploring the temples, villas and churches as well as enjoying the changing landscape and food (particularly the desserts) on our Sicilian adventure.

Be great to hear from any fellow travellers.

Lucy :)

Hi Lucy (and anyone else who is joining!).

Also looking forward to the trip - architecture, archeology & Etna etc.

Do you think Inspector Montalbano has done more for Sicilian tourism than Peter Jackson (& LOTR) for NZ !?!?

We have only been to Sicily once before, a mere day trip from Malta to Taormina. I (or my feet!) recall the ground vibrating with each "belch" from Etna!

Regards,

Rob & Linda

Hi Rob and Linda,

Lovely to hear from you both. Nice to hear that you are also looking forward towards the sights and sounds of Sicily.

I'm pretty sure Inspector Montalbano has done more for Sicily than Peter Jackson and NZ - although it is still on my holiday wish list too!

Plus to get us in the Sicilian holiday mood the new series of Inspector Montalbano starts this Saturday so perfect timing!

My holiday countdown has officially started aided by indulging in some Sicilian TV sights over the weekend.

See you both in few weeks,

Lucy :)
