MAH - Cycling Cuba (14-28 April)

Hi all,
I'm Nikki and I'll be taking part in the Cycling Cuba trip from 14-28 April.

Exodus informed me that some of the people taking part in the trip would also be on my flight (KL0723 with KLM from Amsterdam to Havanna, 14th April), and so I just wanted to say that if you are going to be hanging around Amsterdam airport for a while on the 14th, let me know and maybe we could meet up for a cuppa before the flight.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and discovering Cuba together.
Cheers and best wishes,
Nikki

I'll be one of them. I'm going Manchester-Amsterdam-Havana and happy to catch up.

Hi Caroline!
Oh that's great! Have you any idea when your flight from Manchester gets in to Amsterdam?
I think my flight get's me there at about 7am, and the flight to Havana doesn't leave until 10ish, so I'll definitely be looking to get a coffee somewhere :)

Starting to get excited about the trip now, although I really need to get a wiggle on with some training!

Cheers
Nikki

I get in around 8.20 local time apparently. We'll have to look for the Exodus luggage tags!

Know what you mean about the training - currently recovering from a torn ankle ligament so no training done so far. My physio assures me I'll be ready, as long as I do what she says :-) I think I'll be riding for comfort rather than speed...

Oh my word! A torn ligament! That sounds painful! Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed for your recovery. And sure, my current lack of training means I'll be somewhere near the back of the group anyway, so you'll always have a cycle buddy if you need to take it easy.

Here, any chance you're on Facebook? Maybe we could add each other and that would make it easier for us to recognise each other at the airport? My name is Nikki Martin, and my profile pic is of me being chased by a dinosaur (standard!).
