Portugal Walking and Wine 13th May

Hello there! Looking forward to travelling the beautiful Douro Valley. Are there any fellow travellers to share good food and wine with after trekking through beautiful countryside?

Hi there - I'm looking to book this particular walking trip for 27th May - however when I asked this question, the booking agent really wasn't sure but suggested morning departures may be around 8am. I'm wondering if anyone who has been on any 'leisurely' rated walking trips (anywhere!) knows the sort of time the group departs each day? I appreciate that it will depend to a certain extent on the agreement of the group but I must admit that if it's around 8am, then this trip isn't for me! 9am would be the earliest I would wish to set off on a leisurely walk on holiday!
(I'm hoping that walkers on other trips see this post and if anybody reading it has any better idea how i should post my question, I'd be very grateful!). Thank you in anticipation!

Hello leisurely walker! We have been on quite a few tours and they usually have suitcases outside the door btw7.30 & 8am at the latest. If you are spending more than 1 night at the same hotel, departure time might be a bit later, maybe. Buses usually depart by 9am at the latest.
Hope this helps
