Tour du Mont Blanc Camping Trek 24 June

Hi, I am Nick, I shall be joining this trip on the 24 June. It will be the first time I've walked in this region and looking forward to it. I am only just starting to do a few walks to get fit for it! I am a 50 something and not sure of the demographic for this sort of trip but believe it could be quite a wide range of age and ability?
Has anyone else done a similar trip, or have any tips regarding what to expect or kit to take?

Hi Nick,

I'm on this trip too and will be getting the group flight. I haven't walked in the Alps but have done quite a bit of multi-day camping in the UK and abroad. Very much looking forward to it!

Hi Kate & Nick

I am also booked on this departure. it is also a first for me although I have done a lot of hiking in the past. I am 46 and fairly fit, trying do keep fitter for this trip. Really looking forward to it. I am also on the flight to Geneva after arriving from South Africa the day before so hopefully see you at LHR Kate!

A response from Exodus regarding luggage allowance for group flight & tour.

"While the airline’s standard baggage allowance is 23kgs, there is limited space for transporting the bags whilst on the trip so we ask clients not to take more than 15kgs in their main bags. Obviously you will also have a separate day bag which you can take things for each day.

This should be enough for this trip, and we do ask clients to stick to around 15kgs max for their main bags."

I have also asked about electrical hook up at the camp sites
