The Red Sea is an inlet of the Indian Ocean between Africa and Asia. Historical this is where Moses parted the sea and led the Jewish people to freedom. Today its known for some of the best diving in the world, with magnificent underwater wildlife and unique coral gardens. The "sea" is connected to the ocean is in the south through the Bab el Mandeb sound and the Gulf of Aden. In the north are the Sinai Peninsula, the Gulf of Aqaba, and the Gulf of Suez. With year round sunshine, and just a few hours from the UK, the Red Sea is the perfect destination for winter sun.
